By clicking on the email tab which is located on the right hand top section this opens a pop-up box to send an email.

Firstly select who is going to receive the email, this can be the main applicant, an assigned user or a contact. Then if you have templates set up for common emails you can simply select which template you require. If you wish to blind copy a recipient in you can do that next, then below choose the subject line. In the subject line you can select a replacement token for example customer name.
Next if you are not using a template you would type the email to be sent. This can again use replacement tokens, also using insert add images etc. Below the body of the email is the option to add an attachment. Once you have finished you can either simply sent the email or preview the email.
