Calling or headset not working for me

Please follow this short toubleshooting guide below

  1. Unplug your headset and plug it back in - if it still doesn't work then move to step 2.

  2. If your headset has a mute button make sure it is not on.

  3. Unplug your headset and plug in a colleague's headset that is definitely working - if it still doesn't work then move to step 4

  4. In AutoConvert click on the troubleshooting option in the menu on the left. This will run a quick test and should show you two ticks. If you see a cross against "Microphone access" instead of a tick, then please re-boot your computer. When you re-open AutoConvert you must allow microphone access when prompted for calling to work in AutoConvert. If this does not work move to step 5.

  5. We need to test your computer's ability to make calls. It's easy, just visit this website https://networktest.twilio.com which automatically runs the test. After a minute or two the test will be complete. Now, can you please copy all the text in the Log Output section on the right and paste it into the support chat or ticketing system. Alternatively you can send a screenshot showing the Log Output area.

  6. Press the control, alt and delete keys at the same time and then press Task Manager. In Task Manager make sure that you're on the Process tab and then click on the CPU header so that the little arrow (also in the CPU header) points down. Then take a screen of the Task Manager window and send it to us.
